WALT: show, don’t tell when describing.
Remember to:
show by writing about:
- what it looks like
what it tastes like
- what it smells like
- how you felt (feelings)
Activity - Choose your favourite food. Write a few sentences describing it to us by showing not telling.
I’m so excited. A small, smooth scoop with lots of tiny pieces, red, yellow, green and blue came to me in a cup. The chocolate sauce drizzles down. It tastes very delicious. It smells so amazing that I ate it very fast that I got so full.
